I just ran Office Update to download SP1 to my copy of Office 2003, which was much harder than it should have been.
Software problems? Nope.
Badly made website? No.
Corrupted download? No way.
No - it was my Office CD. You'd have thought for a piece of software that costs a few hundred pounds they could afford to put it in a non-flimsy case. Yet I was forced to carefully rip the wretched cardboard thing apart just to get at the CD, which had somehow got stuck to the lid.
Moral : Please Microsoft, buy some jewel cases.
